Environment

WAO Early Learning centres offer a natural, welcoming, and warm environment for children.

The Balgowlah Early Learning Space

At WAO Early Learning Centres, where we've carefully crafted environments that inspire curiosity, creativity, and connection with nature. Indoors, children are greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere designed to spark their imagination and encourage exploration.

Various sections offer diverse opportunities for play, learning, and social interaction, ensuring every child feels engaged and supported in their development.

Our outdoor spaces are thoughtfully curated with an array of natural elements and materials, providing ample opportunities for hands-on exploration and discovery. Here, children can engage in properly designed risk play elements, fostering resilience, confidence, and physical development in a safe environment.

We believe in the power of ownership and collaboration, encouraging children to contribute to the decoration of both indoor and outdoor spaces and fostering a sense of ownership and pride in their environment.

Large sliding glass doors lead outside to a backyard with green grass and play equipment. Inside, there's a wooden shelf with a white cloth and black dishes, a potted plant, and a small kitchen area with utensils, and a wooden box cabinet. The room has wooden floors and is filled with natural light.

“Children feel safe, secure and supported when they confidently explore and engage with social and physical environments through relationships and play.”
